If you’ve been following along, you may remember that we planted an elderberry, a serviceberry, a Carolina rose, a black chokeberry, two paw paws, and three spice bushes in the backyard a few weeks ago. (AND a snowberry—whose berries are not edible—outside of the fenced area.)
One spice bush has been slow to put out leaves (although it has buds, so we know it’s not dead), but otherwise—all are doing well! Next check-in a couple of years from now when we have some berries….
One Response to Check-in: fruit trees
Checking in as suggested…how are the edibles doing? I am grateful to have found your site, as I am new to your area and fixed on many of the same ideas!
