Mushrooms in black and white

Over the past month mushrooms have been sprouting up all over the place. Nothing we’re about to eat—our mushroom farms haven’t fruited yet—but there have been some very interesting fungi popping up around here. For a while there was a literal rainbow’s variety, red through purple, but lately we’re only seeing black and white mushrooms.
